Set in a quiet, peaceful residential area, our home sits less than a mile from Weymouth Beach, the South West Coast Path, bird reserves, parks, and the town centre. You’ll have private off‑road parking just 50 metres away, and you’re within 2 km of two major supermarkets, with local shops only a five‑minute walk from the door. Excellent seafront restaurants are also an easy stroll away. Nearby attractions include the Sealife Centre, Abbotsbury Sub‑tropical Gardens, Chesil Beach, Portland Bill, and Thomas Hardy’s Dorchester.

Inside, you’ll find all the modern comforts you’d expect, blended with the charm of its 1970s character—original tiles, the occasional squeaky floorboard, and quirky alcoves that give the house its personality. If you’re looking for something ultra‑contemporary, this may not be the perfect match. But if you love a cosy, spotless, comfortable retreat where you can truly unwind, we’d be delighted to welcome you.

We happily accept one well‑behaved dog. Please bring your dog’s bed; a blanket for use on furniture is provided.

The house is tucked away at the end of a quiet, private no‑through road, offering a peaceful base just a mile from the town centre and harbour, and around 0.8 miles from the beach. A map is included in the listing so you can get a clear sense of the area before booking. Every guest has different preferences, so we encourage you to choose the location that best suits your stay—and to keep that in mind when sharing your thoughts about the Little House at the Seaside.

It’s an ideal spot for a snug winter escape, with beach walks close by, cafés serving hot chocolate, and cosy sofas with soft throws waiting for you afterwards.

Shops and bus stops are a 10‑minute walk, the beach is around 20 minutes, and the harbour about 30 minutes. A private off‑road parking space is included.

In line with Dorset Council’s business‑rates policies, we will ask for photographic proof of your home address and identity when you book. This is destroyed as soon as your stay ends.

Our insurance allows a maximum of four guests, so we cannot accept larger groups.

For safety reasons, we cannot accommodate children under 3 unless they are non‑mobile babies in travel cots, as our stairs cannot support stair‑gates.

If you’re celebrating a special occasion, we can arrange a locally made cake, chocolates, and a helium balloon ready for your arrival. Please message us at least 2 weeks before your arrival. Due to local licensing rules, we cannot provide alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own.
